done with my argon - any value?

I kept trying to get this thing working, and during a recent start up, the psu stopped powering up the laser head so i've gotten frustrated to the point where i don't want to see it anymore. I know this thing has a pretty large salvage value, but what can I honestly expect for it? Actual laser tube is still 100% intact. PSU - no idea - i checked for popped fuses and found nothing :-?

I would love to take the head off your hands....I would try to get a new power supply for it, TBH...Don't keep beating your head on the wall, bro

Depending on how you market it, you might be able to get a little more than what you paid for it.

I'm trying to think what would be the best way to get as much possible for it - I don't have a seller's account on ebay so I'll probably post on PL since there seem to be more users that have experience with gas lasers

edit - i disconnected the head and the psu seems to power up again (status leds come on) so it may have just been a short.

I still think you should take a road trip and see mixedgas from PL......

even if i were to do it on like a weekend, it would cost over $100 in gas - i think i will stick with the trade drlava has offered to me
