Im sure most/if not all of you have read that our good friend "RayJay" has recently had most of his lasers stolen during a break-in. Sickened and wanting to help him out I decided to start a donation thread(which he agreed to) to help him grow his collection back, even donating $1 will help!

Hey Greenlander, thats a good idea. How about also that seeing as this is about building up his laser collection again that there be a postal address to send components to. Ray lives about 650km from me but I do pass that way several times a year and I will go and meet him next time I go that way and take him some bits and pieces that he can use in some builds.

I really appreciate the thought Greenlander! And Busman you are right.. It's not really about money (although i have spend 95% of my left over bi-weekly pay on laser stuff in the last 2 days) it's about rebuilding some lost builds.

Actually, a few days before i got broken into i had ordered some host's off sinner. After i posted about it on here he contacted me and told me he was sending me the 3 hosts and i could pay him when i could! So to Sinner THANKYOU! Any help even if it is for delayed payments on things helps. Walking into my former "laser room" is quite depressing as i am sure all of you could relate to.

I hope they find the pricks who did this. It's a shame we can't just put people like that to the sword. Probably some little junkie douchenozzles trying to support a drug habit, the most worthless type of not-quite human beings. On second thought, don't put them to the sword, impale them on a spike, Vlad style.

If you haven't already, notify the police. Not only to file a report, but also due to the fact that there are now multiple high-power lasers in the hands of these criminals, and it's anybody's guess how they will use, misuse, and abuse them for the common bad.

Check the pawn shops in your county and the surrounding counties/cities. Wouldn't surprise me if the little druggies try to hock the lasers. Not sure a pawn shop would take them though.

I hope you get your lasers back, and I hope the thieves get killed by a bus. Yes, I mean that.

I have reported to the police as not only the lasers were stolen but my mrs new laptop, some jewellery, cash etc was also stolen. But, i can't report the lasers stolen or else I will get into trouble!

Hock shops won;t take them as they are illegal and i highly doubt they even knew what they had taken.. I can imagine the first thing to go would have been the ophir head.. Probably just thrown in a bin.. :cryyy: Then they may have just thrown the whole box when they opened it and saw that it was "just a box of torches" But, who knows.. I know some of the "big boys" in my area and have told them to keep their eyes out for our stuff if they or any of their friends get offered any of it.
