Im no expert on the subject, I really just wanted you to think outside the square before blaming the glasses, I would say your camera will have a filter in it otherwise they would take shitty normal photos, also if it didnt have an IR filter the diode would look ALOT more brighter through the camera than what it does currently, i took the IR/UV filter out of an xbox360 USB camera for IR experiments and it made a HUGE difference(camera takes shity colour Pics/video now though)I'm using a regular camera which tends to pick up IR light. I don't know whether there is any filter built in. It's a Panasonic DMC TZ25 LUMIX.
The glasses are rated for 808, 830 and 850nm. (OD5+).
The diode is one from my TV remote controller.
Do you think the glasses will start blocking the light, only at higher intensities? Or should this be a linear characteristic (power vs blocking rate)
