building a 2W laser using a 303 laser pointer housing wondering what driver would be used in this setup as this is my first project I am using a 2w laser diode and was also wondering if I could wire a 11.1v li-ion 2000mah battery into the circuit as well it is my first time any help would be appreciated thanks in advance

For a 303 host I suspect you would want a driver with a battery spring on the end, check ebay and read the specs for the input voltage range.
What kind of laser safety glasses do you have ?
This takes 2 x 3.7v cells in series, for a 303 it would be 2 x 18350 or 2 x 16340
