Crazy Homemade Lightsaber Burns Through Objects : Discovery News
I have mixed feelings. On one hand, that laser is very, very cool. Imagine what a green one will look like, if/when there are green diodes in that power range. :drool:
On the other, I hope some idiot doesn't hurt himself or someone else by trying to build his own. At least the article mentioned safety goggles, even if it didn't emphasize that they must be specially-designed for lasers.
So, who is our resident Jedi? :thinking:
