Hypothetical question, just out of curiosity.
When working with laser diodes... should all of the circuitry driving that diode 'all' be 'tuned' to operate at the same wavelength/frequency as the diode's outputted wavelength? IE. If I have a 445nm diode, should my driving circuitry be tuned to operate at a frequency of 673.690916853933Mhz for optimal performance?

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say no. And the frequency of a 445nm photon is...considerably higher than that.

These drivers are set to the power output and are set to keep the current the same at all times. It really doesn't matter what the wavelength of the diode is.
