IMO, with just a couple of CM more a nice 18650 could fit in it.

In the video, you unthread two two front pieces, not just the crown.
In my case, that's not possible, only the crown can be removed, the rest of the head looks like it's epoxied in place.
Only Chuck Norris would unthread mine.

Did you manage to unthread the heatsink from the battery barrel?
I'm at the 1/3 of the video, sorry if it's already shown...

i have gotten the heatsink out :) it is maybe ~2-3cm length wise. it doesnt screw out you have to pull it out. the driver is a shitty chinese one with smd components and a through hole resistor that looks really outa place. (has a pot) does your mode hop??
if you really want ill take the heatsink out and snap some photos
cheers

Pressfitted in there?
In the name of the CN.

It does have two little holes, and it's positioned RIGHT in the middle of the barrel threading.
One would suspect it just might be simply threaded in there.

But ofcourse, it's pressfited.

Okay thanks for the tip, I'll see if I can get it out sometime soon. Gotta write a review first. Where's the camera cable...

yeah my attempt at threading it out only unthreaded the module :p
so i pulled it out andwhat do u know it was press fit.
does yours mode hop?
and your HS does it have scratches ontop off it :p
and Smell your battery barrel :p

It does not mode hop, and my HS did not have scratches until I tried unthreading it by the two holes, and battery barrel is fine.

Just wondering how you hooked up your power supply. Do i put the plug right inside the laser on the spring. and the other one on the switch. ?

are you sure my battery goes in as Positive hitting the switch spring. and Negative inside the laser.

ok the tailcap connects to the host right.ok
the positive goes towards the tailcap.
the negative goes towards the spring on the driver circuit.
connect the negative to the driver spring and the poritive to the CASE of the laser.
got it
??

When we say the spring we mean the "driver spring", not the spring on the tail button.

One last thing. would it be allright to run it at 4.5 or just at 3.0
