There were some rumors about DinoDirect but after I received two last orders in very quick time it seems like dinodirect is just fine online store.
This time I bought "50mW 532nm Green Laser Pointer Black"
Here is the link to that laser : 50mW 532nm Green Laser Pointer Black Laser Pointer, Laser Pointer Green Light, 50mW Laser Pointer Green Light - DinoDirect.com
This laser was discounted at time of purchase from $26.29 to $15.90.
Then I used $5 discount coupon and bought this laser for amazing prize .... $10.90
Came to my house after 25 days.

I immediately went to disassemble the laser without trying it out.
It was easy...just screw of parts and module is visible.
Here are pictures that show everything...

For this price I can't find major issues.
Everything works more than great for this price.
Description on dinodirect website is not correct.
Lasers label says 80mW power output :D
Also, it's not powered by 2xAAA but 2xAA and I like it :D
Host is made of Aluminium and feels very solid in hands.
Best about this laser is very serious looking host, not as DX True lasers.
Only host is worth $10.
There are 4 parts...front part, battery tube, extension tube and tail cap.
Front part of host also contains small heatsink and I'm happy to see that is this cheap laser.
There is extension tube.
It probably means that you can use this laser with 1x14500 or 2xAA.
Many drivers can't work at 4.2V because of overheating.
If anyone can examine this driver and tell me if this would work with 14500 I'll appreciate.

Module looks small, not as modules from DX.
Lens is glued to module and looked very dirty.
I had to clean lens to remove splashes around dot.

As I can see, all components on PCB are SMD and I'm worried if I can power up laser with 1x14500.

Only cons that I've found are dirty lens and that button is not exposed well.
Someone with soft fingers may have difficulties to turn laser on.
But I think that this is good thing because people always press click button very hard and that is how these small buttons stop working.
With this laser you can't press button hard and I hope that click button will not stop working after 2 weeks. It is common problem with DX laser, isn't it?

After putting all part back I powered laser with 2xAA (rechargeable) and laser started lasing with very bright green light :D

I had 30mW DX True, 50mW DX True, 50mW Rayfoss RPL style and they are crap in comparing with this $10 laser.

What to say...it's brighter than any lasers I had, but even this laser can't burn without additional lens.

Beam is in stable TEM00 mode and divergence is better than any laser I mentioned.

I measured current through driver and current is 330mA with 2XAA batteries (1.39V each battery).

One more issue...
I can feel batteries moving inside laser because diameter of tube is slightly bigger that batteries diameter.
I solved this problem with black tape...just wrapped one layer of black tape over batteries.

Pros:
Very, very cheap
Good quality host
Extension tube
Contains small heatsink
Serious looking
Very bright and stable

Cons:
Dirty Lens
Difficult to press button with soft fingers

Even now you can buy this laser for about $20.
If you buy this laser and additional $4 valuable item you can get discount of $10 with coupon.

Host looks the same but as I can see on images this laser comes with module which focus can be adjusted.
My lens is glued.
I think green modules are different.

Awsome review. I like a lot of great pictures, and beamshots look awsome...
Module's pump diode apperas to be 5.6 and not 9mm package, which means it can be replaced more easily if failure should occur. However let's hope it won't come to that :p

Can anyone help with this driver?
Should I try to power up module with 1x14500?
Driver looks the same as drivers from DX pen host lasers and DX modules.
But there is SMD 1ohm resistor, not high power resistor.
None of components get hot with 2XAA and I think I'm going to give 14500 try.

EDIT:
I have just tried power up laser with 1x14500 and it works :D
Resistor and other components never get too hot so I can definitely use 14500 :D

Current increased to 370mA (from 330mA) and dot seems brighter.
I can't even notice soft start, laser starts lasing instantly.
With 2xAA batteries I had to wait 1-2 seconds, if it's cold must wait even more.

Without extension tube it's very small laser...

14500 FTW
