Looks like only the focus ring is different really, even comes with the same manual.
I doubt there will be much performace benefit, though looking less pleasurable and more like a laser would be good in itself for some.

It´s the Dilda version 2, which I just bought from O-like. (O-like has been having it for months)

Also, for $2 more than DX, O-like includes rechargeable CR2's as well as a charger...Plus they individually test and confirm the output prior to shipping (which we ALL know DX doesn't do).
Add that up as well as the fact that O-like ships to the USA and stands behind their products 100% and there is no comparison!
