Hello,
I purchased this LP from a member here back in 2013. so i have forgotten a lot of the names of the components to say the least.
So, Please pardon the lack of knowledge.
Ok, this LP was working when it was stored it a few months ago. the batteries are always removed when not in use. went to use it the other day and nothing.
my battery out put is 8.5vdc and the disk (do not know the proper name) output is 8.5vdc all the way to the Laser diode input is 8.5vdc. I'm unsure on the parts that need to be replaced.

Thanks for any help :thanks:

it is a 1.7W 445nm Copper Blue Laser Module W/X-Drive & Three Element Glass Lens
and uses 2 18350 batteries

What kind of laser was it? You don't list the wavelength or what output power it had.

And what type of batteries are you using ??

The amount of info you will receive is directly
proportional to the info you supply...

Hi,
Test the diode with a PSU then the driver with a test load to find out what is bad. Either one is the culprit . Thats a C11 side button love them great sinking made quite a few of those builds. If you need a repair PM me if your interested.

Rich:)
