Just recieved my diodes from a winning bid on the "bay" and have no idea which diodes are of the 635nm variety.
http://cgi.ebay.com/50-LASER-DIODE-...39:1|66:2|65:12|240:1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14

The diodes have a "code" on the side starting with two letters and followed by three numbers (QA or QY and4XX, all of them are in the 400's)
Most of the diodes start with QY, should I assume that the QY diodes are of the 635nm type?

Thanks as always,

Ray

PS  I have no idea how to test them   [smiley=lipsrsealed.gif]

Thanks Mike!

I'm to much of a newb to fire these things up................I might fry them.

Thanks again,

Ray
