Hey Guys,
I only find some sketchy and not really trustworthy Datasheets for the LPC 840, does somebody have a link or some screenshots or photos to the original Datasheet or anything I can trust?
I'd like to know not just the Powerrating but also other technical Infos so I'd be extremely thankful if somebody could help me with that.
Thanks
Im from Germany so sorry for any mistakes.

I believe the more like 660nm i used to have 3+ i only have 1 left the are around 200mw but am maybe wrong i used it in the star wars blaster i bin told the can be pushed to 400mW i try doing it and i lost 3/4

I have a 826 and it pushes about 200mw. I read about the 840 it can do 410mw but I'd like to know mainly the divergence.

The divergence is very good once you start pushing the diode to max you will see it will literally start to change color to orange & pink its kinda interesting this is why i lost 3 diodes i try to stop when it turned pink & orange hard to explain or it was just my eyes tripping

No data sheet seems to exist for LPC 840, on the internet anyway --maybe ask one of the vendors selling them for one or for divergence data if different from LPC 826
Ask https://www.ebay.com/itm/2x-Mitsubishi-LPC-840-650nm-Red-Laser-Diode-TO18-5-6mm/231528571615?_trkparms=aid=1110012&algo=SPLICE.SOIPOST&ao=1&asc=20200420083544&meid=39c7f206219c4da99575263ec3492fe0&pid=100008&rk=2&rkt=12&sd=231446679040&itm=231528571615&pmt=1&noa=0&pg=2047675&algv=PromotedSellersOtherItemsV2WithMLRv3&_trksid=p2047675.c100008.m2219

Techhood always used to say : "Contact us if you need complete data sheet" as well. Try them also

I love these diodes cause they’re cheap. Divergence is great. I bought 5 Ml101u29 for like $15 some time ago. I don’t have a power meter, but I’ve killed one driven at 300mA+, but another is still cruising over a year later.

I put a couple in low power cat pointers with cheap drivers, one in a keychain powered by a flexdrive and 10220 li-ion... cute lil thing.

One day, if I ever get time, I’d like to put a couple under the microscope at work, and cut and micro solder the cathode wire to the inert pin to try and make them case neutral. Not sure if this has been tried before🤷‍♂️

Good to see you back shotgun, been awhile since I've seen you post. Still over seas in the mil?
Yup still in Okinawa. Been pretty busy with work, school, and took a break from hobbies for a while. But I rummage in and out of here regularly. How’ve you been, sir?

Still having issues with my photon addiction, cannot quit! Happy to see your update, I'm still in Qatar supporting the military. Cheers!
