I just machined this an hour ago  

    The piece is off an old DX Greenie that broke, so i took off the module/head of the laser host, tapped a 15/32 hole, and placed the back end of an aixiz module for looks, I am actually going to make a budget labby using  a LOC @ 420ma, with one of the LM317 drivers, all in all the total will be,

LOC diode around 12
Glass lens aixiz around 5

so 17 dollars for a 300mW burner...Not to bad  ;D
