I think the comments were better than the video. What a stupid commercial product. I don't see anyone buying this.
 
Hydro dipping has been around for awhile. Never seen it in a cheap kit though
 
Yeah, why the heck would you do this to a laser host? I suppose the added layer is a decent insulator and may have limited emissivity as well, so it'll just degrade heatsinking greatly while adding nothing but cosmetics.

Now I know some people prefer 'good looking' lasers, but that usually sacrifices thermal performance in some way, and this method seems to be extremely bad (compared to say a nice color anodized finish on a alu host which doesn't degrade things that much).
