Custom 150mW Green (NexBox module, XCreedX host/heatsink)

I have been meaning to do this review for a while.

I ordered this custom host/heatsink from XCreedX a while ago.

I then fried the green module that I had before I could take any pictures.

Anyways I have just received my 150mW green module from NexBox. And I finally got around to taking some pics.

The host/heatsink and custom front piece are really nice, and XCreedX did a really good job with them.

Also the module that I received from Nexbox is really nice. It blows the 100mW O-like module that I had away. And for the same price.

The module is very bright, and very powerful. It lights matches with ease.

The ONLY con about the module was the focus was off and the lens was glued in place. The dot was really big, and I could not shine the laser far distances. But with a few tips from Jayrob, I was able to get the lens loose and fix the focus. Now the dot is pretty tight, and it shines great over very far distances.

Now for the pics:

The custom front piece looks really nice, and blends in perfectly with the assault crown.

It even looks nice without the assault crown.

And there you go. My second laser review. And my favorite laser.

You should get that metered... I ordered a module from nexbox... he stated it was 200mw... it puts out 120mw

I thought about getting it metered just to see. But it doesn't bother me too much. Its more powerful than my 100mW o-like module, I know that. And I am not going to be burning to much with it, so its alright.

But it feels like it could be around 150mW or more. It could out-burn my 200mW red o-like, if focused properly

I know, these 445nm are niiiiice.

They are a MUST have.

Especially since we don't know how long they will be available....
