I have a few questions:

Is there a graph for green lasers mW versus mA? I've never seen that graph..

I've been looking for the last hour for this one..
How can you tell if your greenie has a IR filter? I have a few 10mW & one 20mW green lasers which I don't know if it has a filter or not. I know I read it somewhere.. but it's been a while so I can't seem to find the post about it.

Thanks for the help.

There is FAR too much variability in these cheap little DPSS modules to get any kind of reliable graph like you are asking about

Shine your laser through some cola in a baggie. The brown filters the green out. However, with these low powered pointers, IR is rarely a problem unless the crystal has been dislodged or broken out. If your laser is still shining green light, this has not happened to yours. The amount of IR "leakage" from one of these little (functional) pointers is not much.

Peace,
dave

Firing though cola.. Okay thanks. I'll pull out the camera and see if any IR goes through the bag.

Actually the greenies I have are from China. Designed to be mounted on rifles. No clue on the quality but I was told that they were 10mW and 20mW. Just don't want to risk high levels or IR hitting someone or myself. Thanks.
