correct power supply for this laser

Hello,

I recently purchased a laser from amazon and a separate battery holder, I was wondering if all I need to do is wire the battery pack to the laser and it's good to go? Do I need a resistor?

You paid too much for that. But yes, just connect it. No resistor needed.

Thanks. Do you have links to other sources of these cheap lasers? When I was searching all I could find were industrial versions for $$$.
