cool mini guns!

I've seen cooler. Por ejemplo:

Although you can't fit this under your moobs like the guns in the first link, it's still cool.

Edit: I finally just figured out how to do the youtube video code? What is the point of the stars? I thought they were there to show there was a space in the code...

the stars on the video are for rating it, 1 star is bad, 5 stars is good.

not sure what space in the code is, sounds something like iRobot where there are robot dreams of the future or something.

WTF????? I meant when someone asks how to post a video from youtube right on LPF and the answer is usually something along the lines of:

"[yt*]everthing past the = at the end of the youtube html[/yt*] and remove the *'s"

I thought the stars were there to show there was a space in the code after yt and /yt. I finally just used no spaces in the code and it worked. Why even show the stars when explaining the code? It confused the hell out of me.

You have to put stars in when explaining he code because otherwise the code will activate and all the person you are trying to explain it to can see is a video or, if there is not a code in between the [yt*] and [/yt*] (without the stars), a white box.

The real Mini Gun in action

Then of course one of the guns we make at work. You might want to turn up the volume for it....suppressor is on. (30rd mags)

I just ordered a Flare kit, 2 boxes of blanks, and extra flares. I decided to purchase from http://www.smallflare.com because their prices and quantities were better than the other site.

:gun:

i saw a youtube vid about the xythos revolver. on the website it only said that it can only fire blanks, but the youtube vid said it can fire live 2mm rounds. the man who made the vid is selling live 2mm rounds. the website i posted is also selling 2mm rounds and claims that the rounds dont fit in the revolver. wats going on?

My "gun" arrived today. The kit comes with a 6 shot revolver, an extra cylinder, a box of 36 pin-fire blanks, threaded flare launching barrel, and 10 flares. I also picked up 2 extra boxes of ammo and a few more flares. New Years Eve should be lots of fun!
The trigger is sharp and has a pretty heavy pull. I slid a piece of silicone tubing over it to make shooting more comfortable.

The shells are so small I almost need tweezers to drop them into the cylinder.

It's so cute!:p The darn thing is LOUD too.

It does look like you could fire a projectile down the barrel, but I wouldn't try it. The cylinder and bore are not perfectly aligned. There is a possibility that the bullet could jam at the cylinder gap and that would probably be bad. Not to mention the fact that the barrel is smooth and repeatable accuracy would be nonexistent.

Anywho... It is what it is; a cap gun for big boys.

The blanks are pretty darn loud considering they are just 2.2mm across and 3.8mm long. They are also being fired out of a revolver with a half inch barrel though. The blast is directional, so being behind the gun will be quieter than in front of it.

I don't really know how to quantify the noise. I suppose they sound like a CCI #350 primer ... ...
