then you want the top one, a conex which focuses the beam down to a point, but it wont burn with 15mW ;D
 
Yeah, ive got one of them, its just i was told the collimator makes it tiny, if you used two convex lenses that might be better
 
Go to the dump and find an old camera. ;)

I'm not so sure about webcams, but disposable should work, or any other camera.
 
I use the lens assembly ( the focusing one ) from an old projector to focus my laser beam down, it burns like hell when I do, focuses it to a tiny point , only works if I shine it in the right end though :P
 
yeah, was an old philips, was a nightmare to open, didnt have the proper screw drivers you see  :-[ Theres loads of cool optics in them, theres 3 diffraction gratings, a huge beam splitter type thing, loads of polarized glass slides, some block green laser light really well, others block red, theres also loads of other lenses, and a few other cool things  :P
 
;D The projector still worked, it was just slightly 'wonky' at the edges, it was just one my dad had lying around his work so he brought it home for me, and I used it for a while for gaming, then thought what the hell lets take it apart :D
 
It was awesome, I had it on the floor pointing above my bed so I could lie in bed and look up while gaming :D It was awesome
 
I've got 4, two Romisen L-C030s / L-030 they are both the same, 1 Romisen L-A030 and a 35mW labby that does about 50-60mW, all from DX
