If you do not want to be spoon fed, just look at my non portable device in last reply to Red´s thread in Optics section - there you will see how it all has to be assembled.
About portable: I have been trying to assemble such a thing (for 2 NUBM07, but this could also work with 44´s) since year start, but every heatsink I orderd from ebay and aliexpress turned out to be not what was advertised on pictures or simply not passing to 12mm copper modules.
So finally, I decided to make heatsinks from 12 mm shaft holders (you see one on the picture).
Here is the assembled but not yet tested optomechanics part with 3 cyl. lenses acc. to finding of Milos in his Optics thread. The bag contains prism mirror. PBS cube and waveplate are not on the picture, because I do not want to scratch them before glueing on. I also want to test these 3 step-down circuits from dx to drive 2 NUBM07 in series at 3.5A. For 44´s you will need SXD drivers instead.
To make a thing like this the parts except of Al shafts from hardware shops will be:
2x 12mm copper modules from DTR (short Al rods are their placeholders on the picture) with SXD drivers and G-2 lenses.
4x 12mm shaft holders from aliexpress cut to obtain heatsinks with optical axis hight of 15mm and well filed to ensure heat transfer to the baseplate.
2x PBS/mirror holders from Lasertack. They are designed for optical axis at 15mm hight.
1x dielectric coated Prism mirror from Lasertack (or flat mirror from elswhere).
1x 445nm waverotator (this is how they call waveplate in Poland) from Optlasers with brass mount. This set is not in their ebay shop, but I asked by mail and they sent it together for the price of 638nm set.
2x sets of 3x Cylindrical lenses also from Optlasers. They are for 638nm, but work well with blue because of broadband AR coating. Unfortunately they do not sell separate concave lenses, so I have to sacrifice 2 sets. The reason for such orientation of 3 lenses is to build a variable 1D beam expander - you can find explanation in Milos thread, Optics section. These lenses have 12mm square shape and you can see pass well into the 12mm Al U-shaft.
1x 400-450nm PBS (I checked several from lasertack, stanwax, aliexpress and techhood-the cheapest one - they all work well).
Last thing - do not expect 14W exactly. With the tested non portable device I only got 12-13W for combined beam while only one laser on at a time of mesuring and my LPM sensor has burned pitches after this because it was at its limit.
