Colorado officially to the Pac-10, now.

Pac-10 rumored to have offered Ok. State, Oklahoma, Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech?, in addition to Colorado, in order to become the SuperHuge 16.

Big Televen (Officially known as the Big 10, that has 11 members) rumored to be adding Nebraska, of course they've always wanted Notre Dame, Mizzou wants in but the Big Televen apparently hasn't offered?

So the Big 12 is apparently imploding.

What may happen: The Pac-10 is going nuclear, forming the SuperHuge 16. The Big 10/11 does the same, grabbing who it needs to in order to keep up with the Pac-10: Nebraska, going after Notre Dame, maybe taking Mizzou, likely going after 2 or 3 more Big East schools to make it to 16. The SEC gets to pick whoever it wants, and may stay at 12, or may go up in numbers as well. The ACC and Big East, whatever is left of them after the Big 10/11 and the SEC get what they want, form up to make the 4th super conference.

Giant Pac-10, giant Big Televen, giant SEC, and giant ACC/Big East conference. So possibly 4 super conferences to rule, and 1 ring to rule them all, or something like that.

Any other college sports fans nervous about what's going to happen to their team/conference?

No college football/college sports fans out there? Geez...

Looks like Texas Tech, Texas, OU, and Ok. State all heading to Pac-10 now, giving them 15 teams. Texas A&M, who was reportedly the 6th team offered, and would make the 16th team in the Pac-10, is seriously considering going the opposite direction and joining the SEC.

Some rumors say the SEC want OU and Texas A&M, but OU does look to be heading west while A&M is still considering heading east. The rest of the Big 12 looks to be left out in the cold, except Nebraska heading to the Big 10.

So yes, as it stands at this very moment, the Big 12 has 10 members, and the Big 10 has 12 members. Time for a name change fellas.

The other 5 members of the Big 12 (Mizzou, Kansas, K-state, Iowa State, Baylor), don't have a home as of now. There's still rumbling about Mizzou to the Big 10 (they would be the 13th member as of now, pending more expansion), but the Big 10 may not want them back, it seems.

In related news, Boise State has left the WAC to join the MWC. If Texas A&M does go to the SEC, look for Utah of the MWC to be the 16th member of the Pac-10, if the Utah state legislature allows them to go without BYU tagging along. The MWC may also be the potential home for the Big 12 rejects (Kansas, K-State, Iowa State, Baylor, Mizzou if the Big 10 doesn't happen), and all those incomers may actually be enough to get teh MWC an automatic BCS bid in place of the Big 12's bid, which they'll no longer be needing it appears.

Buckle your seatbelts, it's wild and getting wilder every minute.
