Decided this was a bad idea: probably an underpowered laser and an unreliable seller.

We have paid less here for more powerful ones than that. good luck though
I was hoping to help out the community as well as help myself out. I just payed $245 for a laser, so I'm trying to limit the amount of money I spend on lasers >.<I have a question please?
It obviously looks like you are trying to get a free laser through theses quazi GBs, which is fine. But my question is, if you cant afford to buy a single laser to test it, why should we be sending you >$200 of our hard earned money?
Usually people dont make anything from a GB. They do it to help the community. You are doing nothing but helping yourself here. And with only 44 post, I dont feel comfortable sending you any kind of money, let alone giving you a profit from some cheapo laser that you have no clue of its quality.
If you cant afford to buy a $20 laser then you are in the wrong hobby my friend.
I understand. Thanks for letting me know, I'll make sure to do that next time. The proper way to do a GB is to buy a few samples, test them, then announce the GB. There are 100's of web sites that offer a discount if you buy more than one laser, so there is nothing special here, and many ways for us (and you) to get taken.
What if they all turn out to be <10mw? What if some of your outgoing shipments come up missing? What if 5 of them didnt even work? Are you going to take money out of your pocket to cover any problems that arise? I read the feedback for that seller, and its not good.
Its smarter to just buy the laser then to come up with a GB just to get 1 free. If you find the laser is decent, then decide if you want to do a GB or not. If its average then just move on. Thats how it works.
