Clear newbie tut requested

hi forum,

i am located in the Netherlands
and im interested in building a 200 mW laser for educational purposes.
im fairly new to this, and i was hoping for a clear tutorial which should cover the folowing subjects atleast.

which parts do i need
which tools would i need ( atm all i have is a 25W welding kit)

please do keep in mind it should be newbie friendly
i am sure there is something out there, but finding it myself on this forum is like finding a needle in a haystack.
so i ask you, the pro's for advice.

Well. You wont be needing that 25W welding kit...

Do some reading and research. Questions like this have been posted MANY times, and the answer is always the same.

There is plenty of info in stickies and in peoples build threads.
