What is the best to use to clean optics out of DVD CD players, to get fingerprints off? And to use on aixiz glass, or plastic?
Oh yeah is etching on the plastic lens normal? Its right in the center.

Have you tried the sledgehammer method?

Just kidding. Common ways to clean lenses are alcohol swabs, microfiber cloths, and the LensPen. The LensPen is commonly known on the forums, and is very trusted. I have a LensPen myself, and it works great. You can get it at http://www.lenspen.com/. I got the "Micropro" and the Hurricane Blower (you don't really need it but I got it anyway).

anything that involves rubbing the lens is a total no no

this will only put scratches on it
