I got a couple of New 150mW 650nm Burning Power Red Laser Diode | eBay through the post on Thursday, I put one in a Mini pocket build and ran it at 250mA, burns quite nicely, not done any proper testing on it as I haven't got the equipment but for $4 and $2.50 shipping, you can't go wrong, right ?
