Thinking about giving this laser a chance. Includes a battery and charger. Worst case scenario figure not a bad price for a host case. Plus a chance to tear a laser apart and get a better idea on how they are assembled.

dont if you want to see how a laser is put together. there are about thirty different manufactures of these type of lasers all of them are mass produced and kind of dangerous as well. 90 percent are over spec and most of that is ir leakage. they really are not a quality laser and while they are cheap they are just that cheap. spend a few dollars and buy on off the forum

Not even worth it as a host case? Figure would be easier to gut and repurpose than a flashlight. Could get the laser without a battery for $17 + shipping.

not a good thing to reuse and you can get them cheaper than 17 with a battery and charger on ebay and no they are crap its why they are so cheap

Yea I figured they were kind of junk. But saw a post somewhere someone paid over $100 for the same style with the gold case. Thanks for the info will look around some more. If nothing else have a stream light host might try to build off of.
