It is the same differences as 5Watt light bulb and 200Watt light bulb. One can burn your finger and the other not. Both can kill your eyes.

5mW and below should be safe but never shine it in anyone/anything's eyes on purpose regardless.

To be honest, nothing but one of those $1 red laser pointers are pet safe.

Its nearly impossible to get buy a cheap <5mW laser, other than those red key chain lasers. All the other types of lasers are mostly well over 5mW, even if they say 5mW.

And innaliza, if you keep those links in your signature you will be banned. So please remove them.

I got the laser. The dot is clean and the beam divergent is very tight. The laser measured 92mW on my LPM. I want to potmod it but the cap won't go off without destroying it. I just leave it this way.

A 92mW green laserpen for $19.99 including shipping isn't bad deal.
I feel like a small kiddy again

It was clearly not of 200mW, 92mW for the price, yes, not bad.

The trouble is these deceptive ads for beginners, is that not even half of what was announced.

But again, not bad for the price :beer:
