Ah well, i've decided to leave the tablets for what they are. Realistically there are very few situations where i would carry a tablet, but not a laptop. A 10" tablet is not very pocketable at all, so i decided to stick with either my 13" laptop or an lg optimus one smartphone.
The problem with the tablets is that they sort of offer the worse of both worlds. In terms of portability, they don't really compete with a light laptop (you need a bag to carry one), and in terms of performace they are not suitable to replace a proper laptop at all.

I have an iPad, its a toy and nothing more. It will never replace a real computer.

never...i wouldnt say that.
ipad needs a PC to sync...
But you could now say desame of all the android tablets. nothing can replace the desktop experience. but they come closer and closer.
