probably wouldnt work... but I have a DVD-R sitting under my bed, and I wanted to know if its possible to switch the diodes in a green laser, take out the crystals (obv) and jsut use the same module etc to run it as a red burner?
Obviously Id have to change the current regulation, any way of doing that?
Cheers :)

You could on some greenies, but it really wouldn't be worth it. Some greenies have a 9mm IR laser diode in them so it would be even harder to use a regular 5.6mm can in there.

Oh right, thought it was a long shot anyway.
Never mind, Ive got my DX200 on order anyway :D
Thoguht Id try something to fuill the 8 week gap thoguh :P
