Today is the official day 1 of CES, and we've already seen some cool tech.

CES is always an interesting event to follow for me since we see a lot of different paths technology can take in the coming years. Not everything seen there even makes it into consumer popularity.

I was actually supposed to be there this week, but I ended up unable to go. Oh well, it's well-publicized.

The big highlights so far are a lot of automotive technologies, but there should be a lot more in the days to come.

Anyway, anything you're looking forward to in CES? Favorite tech categories to follow? Heard of anything good from the showroom?

Biggest Controversy- Faraday Future

Strangest Pitch- Chrysler Portal

Not Really Sure- Toyota Concept i

Edit: A few other notable things to include.
-LG talked about autonomous car tech
-The Lucid Air made by Lucid Motors is present at the show but was announced about a month ago.
-Autonomous Uber vehicles are apparently present at the show.
