Hi, im new to this forum and working with lasers.

sooo...
i´ve bought this stuff from ebay
Hitta NEW 300mW 660nm High Power red laser diode på eBays internationella marknad, där det finns fynd att göra i alla dina favoritkategorier. Allting kan levereras till ditt land!

1. size : Φ 5.6 mm
2.service life : > 6000 hours
3.output wavelength : 660nm / + 5nm
4.output power : 300mW
5. working voltage : DC= 3V
6.working current : I < 386mA

Hitta Adjustable current laser diode driver 80-500mA w/TTL på eBays internationella marknad, där det finns fynd att göra i alla dina favoritkategorier. Allting kan levereras till ditt land!

"Adjustable constant current (ACC) driver
20- 500mA output current range (adjusted by pot on the board)
5-10V input
TTL control (if required)
Ideal for laser modules (for battery powered hosts this driver requires the diode to be electrically isolated if the diode if the diode is case+ve)"

And i cant get it to work, is it that the driver just put out 1.25v that is the problem or should it work anyway?

Hope someone can help a noob like me to sort this out

/Robin

Did you set the driver with a test load?

What housing did you use for your laser diode?

what are you using to power the driver. 100 ma might be a bit low for the diode

ʹve testet it with higher current too, with no change, and im using a standard 9v battery for now, when i get it to work im gonna buy some better battery.

wheres your connection diagram and ESD counter measures?
