Can Some Lasers Go Through Walls?

2 blocks is kinda far fetched but I have to say, I once experienced crippling headaches because of low frequency vibrations caused by the AC unit in an old house of mine. They were so low that we couldn't hear them yet I would get a headache several hours after it was turned on every time. It was not a freon leak either. The problem was fixed when we had the main fan replaced, apparently there was a slight wobble in the blades that caused resonance in the unit.

I seem to have no luck with air conditioners at all.

5 different units in as many years. 1 died, 1 fell out, one I returned (too loud), and one I killed myself... drilled through one of the freon tubes.

Now on the 5th one, most expensive by a fair margin, installed it two weeks ago, but already it's making weird noises.

I'm extremely sensitive to inconsistent noises. Probably going to call in for repair, have it looked at in the next few weeks.

HAHA that sucks bro. AC units are far from cheap so it must be a little painful in the wallet to have gone through so many. Speaking of weird noises, a fan on my comp just started making an odd noise last night so I have to take that thing apart. I have been needing to clean my comp out anyway.

Yup, this last one I kind of said f*ck it, and asked for the best one. $280 for an 8000 BTU AC is a lot. I've bought 10000 BTU units for $150 for my friends last year.

Now I'm thinking I might have jumped the gun. Hopefully they will service it for free though, or for cheap. Spending ~$800 on AC's over 5 years, not my idea of fun. I'm really hoping this one will last a few years.
