So heres the deal, i got a dilda driver that had a burned out diode, is there any way i can use this driver and host for a PHR build?

you could use the host thats for sure

the driver i have no idea but you want a driver that runs your phr at 90-120mA

right off the bat, you can't just do a simple swap of diodes. the dildas current is set way too high. if you have the means to properly adjust it down to a safe level for a phr, then yes it will work just fine

Yea i understand that once i can get a driver at 100mA then it should work but will the host fit for 2xCR2 3.0v rechargeables be sufficient or too much voltage, i have a dx 80mW BR that takes 2xCR2 but i want to be sure as its my first build and ive just got the diode today.

EDIT: also will the lens that comes with the dilda recess far enough to focus to infinity?

EDIT2: just noticed its a DT0811 diode ffs, for certain im going to have to change that driver...
