Can i Buy a Class IIIb laser in Florida?

Remember not to ever shine it at moving vehicles, aircraft of any kind, or police. At that power you also have to be careful to never shine it in anyone's eyes, and to avoid bouncing it off shiny objects. The dot may be uncomfortable to look at.

There is a small chance that if you have it imported customs may confiscate the laser, but in the US it really is a small chance.

hy! i also live in florida and own a 130mw class IIIb green laser, i always use caution while using it and even more in my location since i live near the airport ^_^
i didnt know that i had to register it ...thanks for the info ...
just use it with caution and you should be ok like me ...( using the laser for 2-3months)

Just make sure that the date of purchase that you put on the form is within 30 days of the date that you're completing the form. The law gives you 30 days to register the laser. Doubt that you'd have a problem if it was more, but why push your luck?

OWW....30 DAYS ?!! im out of date ...i have the laser for 7months now
I KNOW THAT I said that i had it for 2-3 months but that was just a guess i didnt realize that i had it for 7 months until i saw the order history ...anyway i will be buying a blue laser pretty soon and it will be a high power one so i will be registering that one for sure. THANKS AGAIN ! ^_^

I looked at the form again, and even though the law says 30 days, there's no place on the form for a date other than the date of filling out the form. Register the green laser...you're cool. They have NO way of knowing that you have it as long as you do. They don't ask for a receipt, nor for a date acquired. You're cool to register it now without a problem. Register the blue one when you get it.
