Camera help (dirty shutter)

So I dug up our old Canon EOS 1000 and was going to shoot a roll of film just for fun. But when I was going to insert the film, I saw that it appeared to be some kind of oil on the shutter. I experimented with several shutter speeds, and I found that when I have a reasonably low shutter speed, it sometimes takes a tiny bit longer than usual for it to move away, and it has even jammed two times.

So how do I remove this oil?

looks like it'll take some luck to get that cleaned. if you can find where the oil came from it could help to find something to clean it
