BUYING Green Laser Module

I am looking to buy a green laser module to fit into my laser scanner. Power output needs to be around 40 to 55mw, and the module must have TTL.

Anyone selling or can recommend a good place for, relatively, good prices.

I would have to say try googling for places or asking Andy. If you didn't need to TTL I would say get a DX laser and pull it apart. But to my very limited understanding, TTL would just turn the power on or off to the module so you would just need to hardwire across the switch and have the TTL hooked up to the power going to the laser.

Only thing that gets me with that one is the power is 100mw, that would mean I have 100mw red and 100mw green and the conditions I will be using this one in... well 100mw green is going to blind everyone. Plus, is that mounted in wooden boxes :o

anymore than 5mw can blind people!!

whats mounted in a wooden box?

I don't need that much power, plus the conditions I will be using it in the green is just going to over power the red making the red hard to see. I am mostly doing animations at the moment, until I get a fogger beam shows are slightly more difficult.

I was saying the laser and PSU look like they are in wooden boxes.

the green will over power the red yes,

oh yeah it was in my scanner which is in a wooden box

Exactly my point, thats why I am looking at green lasers at 40mw minimum. Is a wooden box really a good idea :-?

if you look on my site under projects and dt40 you will see my scanner

everything is heat sinked and i have ten fans
