Ok I live in California and want to get a powerful green laser (100mW). DX no longer sells green laser to the US higher than 5mW! >:( I have had problems with Laser Glow before. I think that customs doesn't want the importation of powerful lasers, but if they're sold in the US it's ok right?

What is the best seller that is in the US?

They usually go through customs anyway when they come from NOVA, even though they are in Canada, especially if you get the Alpha which is FDA approved and 100% legal in the US.

personally i get my lasers off amazon but i looked around on DX and even though they say they wont sell them in the US you can still buy them, and you'll get it. many US residents have purchased the high powered lasers and got them. i wouldnt buy from DX anyways cuz the laser value varies and it takes a month to get the laser

Do the Alpha series laser have a IR filter. Are you guys 100% sure they are legal in California and FDA approved The FDA gave me hell >:( when I bought a GHL from Laser Glow a few years ago

OPTOTRONICS green laser pens, cant possibly be MADE in the USA. Since its over 5mw and it doesnt have the stupid 5-point safe crap on it. I'm still going to go with skylasers for this reasons, all lasers are 100% legal and FDA approved, and heres a biggy maybe for this thread,

It's located in California.

The Alpha series has an IR filter and it's 100% legal to own, trust me on this ;D

I don't mind the 5 point safety thing, it's actually kinda cool. It gives it a more dangerous instrument type feel to it.

I did receive my laser from Laser Glow, but by error. I got a letter after I got it saying that it slipped through customs and they never should have shipped it to me! >:( And they said they will send someone to my house to seize it! I'm not kidding!!! So I responded to the letter saying I will return it. then they said I had 30 days to show proof I returned it. I did. It took a month for laser glow to put the money back into my account! >:(

So now I'm all sketch about buying a new laser. That was like two years ago since them I've been cool with making Red and Violet lasers, but now I wanna go back to green. I hope NOVA Lasers is better.

The guy from the FDA was really nice. He told me that companies can put what ever they want on their sites; telling you they're legal and all. SO BE CAREFUL. I was almost out $400.

Ya for that reason i buy FDA approved lasers, No worries about that crap, locally a store in the US also.
