Broken LED Lamp - Better with Lasers

I got this LED anime lamp a year or so ago, it used a bunch of LEDs in the base that shone through a clear piece of plastic that has the character engraved on it so it is illuminated in their shape. A couple days ago the base part had a massive battery leak and was damaged. I took it apart to see if I could clean out the battery goo and do a repair, but couldn't help but try the plastic part with some of my lasers first.
