Broken 301 Laser

Hallo , to all you laser Cracks my Name is barrie l am New to Lasers and this Forum it comes from my craze for lamps,
I ordered a China 301 Laser it come but it was broken and they Sent me a New One , but they did not want the other One back,
My question: can l get Some New insides for it or is there someone Here in the Forum that can rebuild for me. I Must say to this l live in Germany.

There are some European members here who could repair or rebuild the laser for you
However, the cost to repair/rebuild is often more than buying a new Chinese laser

Maybe your broken one would be a good place to begin your own experimentation in building lasers

Thanks Dave for the fast reply, now that l have a 301 over :yh::yh::yh: and it Seems solid so l thought maybe someone could put Some Good Things inside and make a nice Laser .
About Doing something my self is a Good poke but l Need a Little Time before l Trust myself to begin. Regards barrie

Suit yourself

Those lasers go for less than $30 new
Also, those have a very short heat sink (with a pressed diode) and a very short driver/switch assembly.
I have one on my desk here that I am working on
They are difficult to get the needed parts to "fit" into to rebuild them

It could be "fun" for a personal experiment, but not generally worth it to a builder
It is worth less than $10
You might find a friendly laser builder in Europe and simply give the host to him.
