Bought a CNI MODEL MGL-4W but problems (edit: fixed)

Hello,

I bought a CNI MODEL MGL-4W on ebay but it puts out 2.18 watts, not the 4 watts the model number indicates. Can anyone give me advice on what normally causes the power output to drop to half when the units are used?

Edit: This is a 532nm and I found the problem, working now :)

It's probably a driver issue. Though it could be crystal burn from age too. I almost bought one of those green and blue but someone outbid me. I can do a reset and give it a full cleaning, alignment, and tuning if you'd like I'd just need a higher wattage thermopile...It might have some mismatched equipment. I don't recommend opening the head in a household without a good well filtered room. I had to do the same thing with my yellow and 561 green labbies.

pm incoming, i bought it for BIN when he dropped the price to 899 but didn't bid on that auction.

Edit: Found the problem but still need a manual to tune it up, I believe they mixed the power supply/control boxes from some of the other units of the same model they were selling.

I have circled in red the pots I believe will need to be adjusted to tune the unit for optimum efficiency but am without verification or a manual, I would sure like to find a proceedure for this specific power supply so I can work on it, anyone who can direct me? I've heard getting such from the manufacturer is difficult for older units.

I'm being asked why i want such a high power laser, have you seen the size of the mosquitos up here?
