I got a Micro driver for rckstr and connected it to my diode, but it doesn't work.  I checked the diode polarity, which was fine, and I checked the current draw of the driver, which I set to 50 ma, and that was also working.  I assume from all this that the driver is actually operating correctly, so I think that my diode may be burnt out.  Is there any way of checking this?  I know the diode worked before I installed the micro driver, so could I have possible damaged it using my soldering iron?

it may have had a charge in the capacitor :( you need to discharge the cap before soldering on diode :'( :-/ :P :-X

I checked the driver out with a led, and it was fine, so that's a plus, I was hoping I wouldn't have to buy a new driver.  :D  I think you are right, so I guess I'll have to get a new diode  :( :'(  Ah well, you learn something new every day.  Where can I get cheap PHR sleds?
