Hi.
Was checking Google and some old posts here from 2011. Seems to be a lot of confusing info out there. Of course don't point them at eyes, animals, etc.

Just wondering if we hobbiests should be aware of anything new that may have come out.
I'd like to keep my middle aged peepers healthy. Scare tactic, or something to be concerned with?
Seems we all have powerful blue lasers now.
Thanks

The only thing about this that has been proved is the shift in the circadian cycle, and that's unavoidable unless you want to live like a caveman.

The cancer and other health effects are, as far as I know, speculation based on animal studies with conditions far more extreme than you'll ever encounter.

I'll be happy to change my opinion if someone posts an actual scientific paper proving it.

I find the application f.lux helps me relax and fall asleep faster compared to not using it before calling it a night.

yes i use that or orange colored laser googles with a incan light on at night in my room.

Blue light does seem to make it harder to sleep as I have 6500K fluorescent in my room and a 300w 130 volt incan which i use at night or a 89 watt yellow bug light. Sometimes I don't even shut the bug light off its so dim and yellow enough that I guess there's too little blue light.
