I heard the Blue Lasers prices are dropping..... why is that?

Something to do with technology getting easier and cheaper... Competition plays a nice role on our side too... Unless they finally developed a new way to get the right frequency :-?

Right now the prices are dropping mostly because of competiton and because of process improvements. Also diode technology is progressing rapidly so in the next year or so blue diode lasers are going to ramp to high power and that will be the end of most low power dpss lasers.
