Lol! I did try turning it up to about 100mA in desperation. There are other things about the diode that puzzle me though, like the way I had to connect it to get it to work. At this point, I'm happy to have Gazoo take a look at it. Not that I think it can be repaired, but perhaps we can learn a little more about this diode...for the next time!
