Blu-ray laser

It is probably dead, what is the current/voltage? In the "zombie" thread it was 125-200 ma. Get it cooled so that you will have any chance of succsess.
Or check all your connections. Remember that the are not so brigt in real life.

Yea.. well mine was bright.. for 30minutes @ 125mA LOL!! (see my avatar next to a 30mW green)
That was cooool to see though.

But yea stay around 40mA.. i know its very dimm :-/

My BR diode is dead but it is VERY VERY bright, it just wont lase? Maybe it is in the housing crooked but I think I killed it.
