Blowing diodes left and right

I have had issues with lava's drivers as well. His response was basically get another one...
I (might have) found a replacement for the flexmod but nothing as compact as the flex v5 :(

Edit: well already failed the continuity test between the heatsink, and the driver output...(something I will always check for from now on). Now to figure out how to remove this cement somehow..

Your short problem is not the Arctic Silver Epoxy... we use it exclusively
to thermally bond our Thermopille sensors to our heat-sinks and the
small bare wires from the sensors are normally in contact with the Arctic
Silver Epoxy and have never been a problem.

We have tested the cured Arctic Silver Epoxy on the 20 MegOhm
scale of our Fluke DMM and get no resistance readings with a
distance between probes of <1/16"... It is an open circuit..

You probably have a direct PCB or wire contact where you Epoxied
your FLexDrive.

I try to use a thick amount of Arctic Silver epoxy and hold it away slightly until the adhesive sets.
Then test continuity.

Good advice....

Jerry
