i was in town and saw a balloon shop nearby so went in for some black balloons. whilst paying, i saw some clear balloons so thought id buy them so i could try the old trick for my self. blowing up the black balloon inside the clear one was a bit of a pain at first.
the laser used was an RPL-400, the distance from the aperture to the target was 2 meters. it took no more than a second for the black balloon to pop leaving the clear balloon intact.
little did i know, when i tried blow up the clear balloon, i noticed a very small, perfectly round dot - a laser burn
i thought the clear balloons reflect light? how did burn through? i dont get it.
