hello everyone i just want to let you know that recently bought an ndb7675 from ebay (link at the button) and i just received it,first thing i noticed was that it didnt had the extra text on the back of the diode that the 7675's normally have.

after testing im 100% sure that this diode is definetly a 7875 diode and i let the seller know with 2 messages,1 i mentioned that it doesnt have the text on the back and another one after i tested the diode.

he replied on the first message that this is a different lot than DTR's sells and that's why.and on the 2nd message he kindly offered me to return it if i want. i'll keep it anyway but that was quiet messed up.

update:after my recent contact with him seems like he closed the listing.

He knowingly mislead. RC and a few others including myself contacted Barnett and he was aware. This was weeks ago. The diode window was hazy as well.

Yeah, I would not buy harvested NDB7675s from anyone. I have two from an eBay seller that don't have the number between the pins, but they are definitely NDB7675s. Red Cowboy made this same comparison awhile back and really had me going until I fired them up with a PS and measured the wavelength. Not all NDB7675s look like the ones from DTR.

i heard about some 7675s that dont have the numbers on the back, but what i recieved is for sure 7875 as at even at 2.5A that i pushed it its very deep blue same to A140 i had in comparison. hope i knew it the seller intentionally mislabeled his listings.... at least the windows and the output is clear else i had to return it for sure

These were from ABarnett. It has already been stated that these were mislabeled diodes and he knew it at the time. It seems it is just this one seller.

The last diode I got from ABarnette was LED straight out of the mailbox.

As much as I like to see competition yield us lower prices I just won't buy from him anymore.

I won't buy from him either, not after he left some members hanging here without deliveries after payment. Maybe he finally made good with them?

did you got a refund?what he responded?

I know him and messaged him through ebay, he told me that his supplier had given him the wrong diodes ( 7875's in place of 7675's ) and he offered to send me a real 7675 later but I asked for a refund and also had him cancel a 2nd order.

He complied.

I am going to hold my tongue here and simply say buyer beware.
