Better bang per buck optics?

What is the better Bang per buck sled or device for getting visible wavelength optics in the 10mm-30mm size range, such as PBS cubes, dichro's, FS mirrors, Beam combiners?

Sure I could get some of those parts new but in most cases that option would be rather expensive seeing as PBS cubes that I've looked at were about $25 a peice, and about $30 for a RGB set of dichro's, and FS mirrors between $10-30 a pop.

i think what you want is the best sled with the most optics to play with right?
If so it is the higher powered 405nm sleds. i want to say the 8x has some great things in it. plus you may be able to buy just the optics out of the sled. i have a whole drawer full of optics from all my sleds.

Yep, Pretty much just want some cubes, mirrors, and Dichro's to mess around with, just don't want to fork out a couple hundered bucks for a few optics, mostly because I wanna try out a RGB, RGV, or RGBV setup, to see whow many colors I could get, and how close I could get to white.

well i got tons of projector optics from my GBs.
but i only have a few good size cubes.
As it is i am picking up a 1in red pbs cube for around 25$

An empty projector has a wealth of mirrors and lenses. The DLP element is interesting too, acts like a diffraction mirror. One part of the focusing assembly makes a great loupe. And lots of heatsinks (I made my test load on the DLP heatsink!) and some high-rpm fans. Last but not least, the phlatlight LED. No PBS cubes, though...
