Best Place for Diodes?

hey guys
im new to lasers and electrontics and am wanting to start my first laser project.
ive already built a basic driver with lm317 style that powers leds, but having trouble finding a good vendor for good diodes. the only one ive found so far is laser surplus parts. tried searching, but maybe not a good job thanks!!:yh: cant wait to burn holes in the universe

and Kendall from hightechdealz.com

are both very reliable sources for some of the more common diodes.

Some people on the forum have had some issues with laser-surplus-parts, but I personally have not. The only other source for diodes would be the disc drives themselves!

You should try Scopeguy20 I have bought hundreds of Laser Diodes from him, That is all he dose is laser diodes and safety glasses

Hundreds?! Didn't know he sells quite that many diodes. Glenn needs a store.
